Are there any minimal capital requirements? Is it possible to browse or actually purchase anything of this nature online, or is it done through a brokerage, face to face, or some other means?

  1. Ed Atun says:

All realty mortgages are recorded at the County Recorders Office. As a noteholder i get 2 letters a month from people wanting to buy the notes. You can also write letters.
The federal government is going to be selling off “toxic” assets like home loans. Your goal is to buy a $100,000 home loan for $30,000 cash. If the owners start making the payments you get a great return on your money. If they don’t pay, you get the house. Watch the Wall Street Journal (free at the library) for when the sale starts.
    No brokerages currently sell loans..
