Do you know how I can get a free computer program for me to calculate simple interest, compound interest, amortizing mortgages, and other related business functions? Similarly, do you know of a hand held calculator which can do the same?
If you have Excel on your computer, you can do this with its built in financial functions. You can read about them at the link in the source at the bottom of this message.
A good calculator is the BA II Plus, made by Texas Instruments. It helps with a lot of calculations needed in financial mathematics.
If you have a mortgage already, just call your mortgage co and request an amortization. Usually there is no fee but some might charge $5 to 10 dollars.
This site has a wide variety of financial calculators. very useful.
