I would call your credit card company directly first to see if they can offer you a more affordable repayment plan. To do this they will close out any available credit you have, but that’s what gets you from not charging it back up If you can’t do it on your own, try NFCC.org, they are non-profit.
most of those places are a joke. they’ll just settle accounts for you that you could have done for yourself and probably get a better deal. also you wont be paying someone extra to do what you can do yourself. i guess the only nice thing is that some of the collection calls stop. but honestly they’re mostly worthless. i cant think of a good one to go with.

If you use any of these companies your credit will be wrecked. All of these companies take a lot of the money that your give them as their commission.
Best advice is to look into bankruptcy. Contact a bankruptcy attorney and explore all of your options.
