Whenever I start looking at a company that is not well known or if I have any doubts I go to the Better Business Bureau website http://www.bbb.org. You can put in web site addresses and phone numbers as well. I sometimes look at companies I get junk mail from too.
If someone here on Yahoo Answers sent you to the site, it’s almost definitely a scam. This area of YA is overrun with spammers.
