Don’t be fooled by the name. Do some research first or check with someone who used the company before. Some socalled debt advisor are not helpful at all.
I personally know a friend of mine who has been through the program and saved over $12000. According to her, they were the best available company out there (considering there are new firms opening every day, and each one promises miracles). The counselors were the best in explaining the process and how it compares to other available options.
They even have credit repair solutions for you once you finish the program so that you can get back on your feet.
Do your own research, check on the Better Business Bureau. Do a google search about the company and you will find much information that way.
Moreover, the founders are Stanford Business School graduates, I don’t think they would operate a fly by night operation.
I actually used a company called Rise Above Debt Relief. I talked with Freedom, Credit Solutions, and a couple more. The reason I went with Rise Above Debt Relief was because they were the only one with a law firm negotiations team and a $25,000 guarantee if they failed to save me money. When I checked the BBB, Freedom Debt Relief had over 100 complaints and Credit Solutions had over 1000!!! For me, it was an easy choice!!
