First of all not a scam. I’m sure you know this since you’re already working w/ us lol. But to those other ignorant people that believe everything they read on the internet, its an actual job w/ an actual company. Been in business over 20 yrs. It’s not a job for all people but good experience. Anyways, I’m just a receptionist so I’m not sure how you can come across some qualified people. But if you go to the team meetings and talk w/ managers it will most definitely help :) They go over everything and if you’re stuck somewhere they’re more than happy 2 help. Heck, I even help out when I can. I just referred my dad (already has CutCo but loves it so much its a gift for my g-pa) to a rep having some plm’s too. He bought over $350 from her. Good luck to you, hope this helped :)

  2. Honestly, this company is a complete SCAM. Please get out as soon as you can. Research it on google, I’m serious. My friend tried this company too and quit the first day. They want to to go into people’s homes and sell knives. Hmm. Doesn’t sound very promising, does it??? Would you buy knives if someone came to your house trying to sell them??? I’m telling you, I just graduated with my degree in marketing and have been looking for an entry-level job, but I know to stay away from Vector and VMI. Please, save your time, energy, and gas doing something else. This company is such a scam and I can’t even believe they are still around. I’m not trying to be mean to you, I’m just being honest so hopefully it helps.

Ok, I was in the same position you were in about a month ago. When you did your list of a 100 names or more. They should should have told you to write which ones are MAC customers, MA customers, and so on. You should only see MAC customers: Married, Of Age, and Homeowners. For the price is too high, make sure create the value get familiar with the disadvantages of common knives and memorize the closing so that you can ask with confidence. If they tell you on the phone they’re not going to buy, they are the ones who will buy. Just express to them you get paid just to show it to them. Read your training manual. If all else fails talk to your manager or at a division meeting ask successful reps questions
